Performance management remains one of the hottest topics in talent development. As organizations move away from traditional appraisal processes what are the current trends in performance appraisal and performance management? What can scientific research tell us about performance management? Answer these questions and more with our esteemed panelists. 


Laura Bueche is a Senior Talent & Development Analyst at Refinitiv. Prior to her work at Refinitiv she spent 5 years working as Associate, Performance and Talent Management at Thomson Reuters. She completed her undergraduate degree in Applied Psychology from Farmingdale State College and her Master’s in Industrial Organizational Psychology from Hofstra University.

Laura Occhipinti is an HR consultant at Thomson Reuters. At Thomson Reuters she has focused on performance management and talent development. Prior to working at Thomson Reuters she served as Project Director at Lieberman Research in their qualitative research practice. She completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology from C.W. Post and her Master’s degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology from Hofstra University.

Nabila Sheikh is a Senior Manager Organizational Development and Talent Management at PepsiCo. Previously she has worked at Saks Fifth Avenue and Pfizer in talent management and performance management roles. Nabila is also a member of the Society for Industrial Organizational Psychology’s United Nations Committee where she provides I-O psychology consulting support to the United Nations. She graduated with her Master’s in Industrial Organizational Psychology from Baruch College and her Bachelor’s in Psychology from New York University.
