Gary's career began in education as a School and Licensed Mental Health Counselor, where he truly learned how to realize the value of people.

Leaving education and private practice in 1983, he entered the field of human resources, developing a broad-based experience that stressed financial management, problem-solving, dispute resolution, proactive leadership and talent/career development.


A people experience leader and strategic management operations professional with 15+ years success in growing and large organizations including Northwell Health and Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.  Claudine is committed to guiding organizations, teams and individuals through culture transformation and transitions.  Ms. Cangiano holds a BA in psychology from Georgetown University, MS in psychology from Saint Louis University, and MPH, Health Services Management, from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health.  Claudine is a Certified Professional Coach and Energy Leadership™ Index Master Practitioner trained at the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching. 



 


An award-winning talent, organizational development, and operations management professional with over 20 years of experience finding ways to help individuals and organizations achieve their fullest potential. Kate’s professional background includes marketing, operations management, and talent development within the life sciences, music, real estate, publishing, higher education, legal, and logistics industries. Her work has been recognized by eLearning Magazine for creating an award-winning learning culture and a best-in-class collaborative environment for employees. Kate holds a BA in Cultural Anthropology and Business Management from NYU and an MBA in Executive Management from Pace University.

 

An experienced professional with a relentless commitment to continuous improvement and leadership development.  She has over twenty years of experience across different areas of Human Resources and in Continuous Improvement.  She has worked across various industries including Insurance, Financial Services, Communications, Retail, Energy and is currently in Healthcare as the Director of Corporate Education & Training at Stony Brook Medicine.  Shandy earned her Bachelor's in Psychology from Queens College – City University of New York and earned her Master’s in Science in Instructional Technology from New York Institute of Technology.

With over ten years of experience, Sy has served in management, consultant, and research roles in various corporate, academic, and applied settings. As co-founder and Vice President of Consulting with Talent Metrics and Assistant Professor of Industrial-Organizational Psychology at  Farmingdale State College – SUNY, he has collaborated with organizations through consulting engagements in his areas expertise - training and development, selection, survey design, performance management, and team building.

Sy holds a Bachelor's in Economics from Rutgers University, an MBA in Human Resource Management, and a Master's of Arts in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He completed his Ph.D. in Applied Organizational Psychology from Hofstra University.

He currently serves as the Vice-President of Programming for the Long Island Chapter of the Association for Talent Development. He also serves as the Co-Chair of the People Science Special Interest Group for ATD NYC Sy has delivered presentations for I-O Shaken and Stirred and Disrupt HR Long Island and won the Society for Industrial-Organizational Psychology's Scientist-Practitioner Presidential Recognition Award for his focus on science-driven practices in training and talent development. When he's not teaching or consulting, Sy and his wife enjoy films, sports, and music.



Has spent over 24 years in the learning and development arena. Larry loves providing inspirational workshops, with experience facilitating leadership development, sales, and technical training.  

He provides comprehensive learning support in training design and development as well as learning management system expertise. Larry has held certifications from Blanchard, Covey, Workplace Connections, Netspeed Leadership, Predictive Index, and Mind Gym.  He has earned a Six Sigma Green Belt in methodology and has been recognized by Training Magazine as an Effective Performance Consultant.  Larry has served as VP Finance,VP Membership, and President.


Lisa has spent her career in Learning and Human Resources, working in the Hospitality industry. She holds a BS in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University. Lisa served as Chapter President and VP Programming for ATD LI.



With over 20 years of experience in training and organizational development within diverse industries, Michele has provided customized Management and Leadership training to the Long Island business community. Her workshops focus on the often-overlooked people skills that can positively impact morale, productivity, performance, and profits. By educating managers on developing skills to sharpen and focus on the bottom-line, Michele has helped companies deliver measurable financial returns and excel in their markets.

As a long time member of ATD – LI, Michele has been a member of the executive board, hold various leadership positions, including Board President.

Michele earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Randolph-Macon College and a Master's degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Hofstra University.

In addition to her work with KEY Alliance, speaking engagements, Michele is also an Assistant Professor at Farmingdale State College in the Psychology Department.
