Denise Downs holds an MS in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University and an MS in Human Resource Management from New York Institute of Technology and is certified in a variety of leadership/360° assessment tools. Denise holds a certificate in Mediation from the ICCCR, Teachers College, Columbia University. As a lifelong learner, Denise has additional certifications in Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania and in Appreciative Inquiry from Case Western University. As a certified Community Mediator, Denise has used her high-level communication skills to collaborate with community leaders that led to her role as founding Board Member of S.U.N.N., a community organization whose goal is to promote self-esteem and personal empowerment through the removal of graffiti and neighborhood beautification.
