To welcome everyone to the New Year, ATD Long Island will be hosting a workshop event in January about the games trainers play. As gamification becomes a larger part of the instructional designer’s toolbox, an understanding of games and their use in training improves their importance. January’s meeting will involve a discussion about the use of games in training will be facilitated by ATD LI president Sy Islam. Members in attendance will discuss the role of games in training and e-learning. Event attendees are encouraged to bring games that they have used to the workshop for the discussion.
