One of the biggest challenges facing L&D departments is the implementation of Learning Management Software (LMS) This presentation will cover some of the key features of a Learning Management System (common to all LMS solutions), as well as key considerations for the "requirements definition" of an LMS. The presenter will go over a case study in implementing the open source Moodle LMS. 

Learning objectives: 

a) Key components of an LMS, 

b) Process for determining how to go about an implementation

c) The pros and cons of implementing an "open source" LMS

About Imran Hussain 

Imran Husain has 22 years of experience implementing business technology solutions in the private and public sector. For the last 7 years he has been CEO of Celeritas Solutions, a digital agency that has a learning solutions practice (offering instructional design, eLearning development, and training video services) in addition to mobile app development, interactive website and video production services. He is highly experienced in working closely with clients to identify business objectives and developing tailored solutions to their needs. He is a former president of ATD New York City.
