BrandGames CEO, Scott Randall pioneered the use of advergaming as an advertising and training platform in 1995. He is a thought leader in the application of simulation technology to internal and consumer communications and speaks internationally on the topic of game-based technology, engagement and the next-generation communications.
Scott was first featured in Henry Holt & Co.'s early book on digital pioneers "Concepts in Computer Design" in 1993. He is featured in IBM Press’s book, "The New Language of Marketing 2.0". The book contains an excerpt from Scott’s White Paper, “Public Virtual Worlds: Ready for Corporate Prime Time?” which analyzes the role that Virtual Worlds play in the corporate messaging mix. His work has been featured in the New York Times and most recently on Forbes.com.
He has appeared at The Milken Global Conference, the Carlson School of Business at the University of Minnesota, Kennedy Information’s Recruiting 2008, the HR Tomorrow Conference, Nielsen’s Training Conference, and HR Magazine’s HR Technology Conference among others. Scott serves on the Executive Advisory Board of the Harrington School of Communications and Media at the University of Rhode Island.
