This collaboration of 6 ATD chapters (including Eastern PA, Greater Philadelphia, Mid NJ, Northern NJ, Long Island & New York City) is bringing together the best of our networks to provide world class presenters and content.  We look forward to sharing these webinars with you throughout 2021.

NOTE: Registration opens on March 29th for members and April 13th for nonmembers.

Companies are striving make the workplace a fair and equitable environment for all employees. Diversity and Inclusion programs have become a key strategy in today's corporate world. Our topic this month centers around Diversity and Inclusion and how to be above the benchmark.

Topics will include:

  • Acknowledging Challenges while Celebrating Triumphs and Victories


Alethea M. Batts is the Senior Vice President of Learning and Development and Chief Diversity Officer at Lakeland Bank.

In this role, she manages learning strategy and organizational development, including Succession Planning and Talent Management, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion strategy and initiatives, Leadership Development and Mentorship programs.

Alethea has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Lakeland Bank, she spent most of her career as the New Jersey Area Director for Citibank and Senior Vice President and Consumer Market Executive for the Bank of America, leading and managing Retail Operations throughout New York and New Jersey.

Alethea holds an undergraduate degree from Princeton University. She is a graduate of the Consumer Bankers Association for Retail Executive Management program at the University of Virginia. Alethea is deeply committed to community development. She is a Leadership New Jersey fellow, a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, a Princeton Alumni Schools Committee Volunteer, and sits on the Board of Trustees for the Second Street Youth Center, Inc.

She actively participates in the Music Ministry of Fountain Baptist Church in Summit, NJ. Alethea resides in Scotch Plains, NJ with her daughters, Alana and Mikaela.
