6 Ways Asynchronous Video Increases Training Productivity and 3 Times to Avoid It

Tuesday, April 5, 2022 2:00pm - 3:00pm EDT

By: Chris Knowlton, Chief Video Evangelist, Panopto

Learning delivered through a video conferencing platform continues to be the standard for remote training. Though convenient, synchronous learning methods are not always the optimal modality to address the organization's learning and development (L&D) needs. Dispersed teams require learning in the flow of work, but repeated live training can put significant pressure on team schedules and bandwidth.

In this webinar, Chris Knowlton, a Chief Video Evangelist for Panopto, will share six actionable solutions for using asynchronous (on-demand) videos to improve training productivity and effectiveness and three examples of when you should opt for real-time training instead. You will walk away with the knowledge of how to apply asynchronous and synchronous training methods to your organization's L&D program.

In this interactive webinar, you will hear:

  • What asynchronous training is and why more L&D teams are using it to improve learning outcomes
  • Which types of training are best delivered asynchronously and how to plan and produce them
  • Three examples of when synchronous training methods work better and why
  • Examples and case studies from organizations that have adopted asynchronous training
