In a world where teams are spread across continents and communicate in multiple languages, resilience looks - and is built - differently. What helps one team bounce back may feel alien or ineffective to another. But when experiences are designed with cultural, linguistic, and psychological nuance, resilience can thrive anywhere.
This session focuses on the why and how of cultivating resilient behaviors within multicultural and multilingual teams. Drawing from over two decades of experience designing global learning solutions for Microsoft, Uber, and nonprofits across Latin America, Europe, and North America, Diana Chapoy-Callahan will share actionable strategies to build shared strength without erasing cultural identity.
We’ll explore the impact of language on emotional expression, how cultural norms shape responses to change, and what learning leaders can do to foster psychological safety in a global context.
You’ll leave with tools to design leadership development and team learning experiences that not only withstand pressure, but grow stronger because of it.
